My Background
I have over 25 years of touring, recording, teaching, selling and buying Guitars and Basses and have taught musicians from bands such as Mansun, Clipper Cartel and the up and coming band Quarterbridge as well as thousands of people who just love to play!
The Studio
The Studio, based in Connahs Quay, North Wales, is literally "State of the Art", equipped with everything required to give the very best in Guitar and Bass tuition.
There is a wide variation in the age of the Students, who range in age from 5 years to 71 years and this is reflected in the types of material accessible at the studio, from the various music of today, back to blues tracks recorded in the early 1900's.
Our philosophy has always been "To get good with a smile"
We offer recording facilities either in the Studio, on location or a mixture of both. Superb outboard and mic's are available which have been used on such diverse projects as a Male Voice Choir and a voice over for an Adult Chatline !!
The Studio is also on the recommended tutor list initiated by JHS (Musical Instruments) Ltd, which is a nationwide register of top tutors in each area of the country.

If you want to play music as well as listening to it, then why not come along to one of our Open Days held on the 3rd Sunday of of every month, to have a look around the Studio and see what we can offer.
I am so confident that you will like what you see that your first Guitar or Bass lesson will be absolutly free ! The tuition rates for following lessons are then kept as low as possible to allow everyone access to learn and improve.
This has proved so popular that students travel from as far afield as Angelsey, Wirral and Manchester to access the unique teaching methods at the Studio.

Recording Courses
The courses are based on two assumptions.
The courses have been running since November 1999 and there are now people, who would not have known a Mouse from a Modem, who are not only recording on these systems,but releasing CD's within the 10 week period
